From Bombay Eliseo was transferred to Melbourne where he arrived on 26 April 1944. In Australia he was interned from 27 April 1944 as a Prisoner of War in Cowra Prisoner of War Camp 12 (NSW) until his repatriation on 23 December 1946 on “Alcantara”. |
